Traveler Problems on Kindle Fire

I had the same experience - Only the main Traveler Sync/Settings app icon appears in the Kindle Fire GUI. Traveler is syncing and when I get a new mail, I can enter the mail app from the notification. Same with the calendar app. You just can't launch them directly from the GUI. My contacts are also syncing correctly. I submitted this issue to Amazon support.
